Located
on one of the most desirable
streets in Palm Springs, this
former residence
of John Phillips of “The
Mamas and The Papas” fame
offers spectacular views of the
Coachella Valley and San Jacinto
Mountains.
Canyon
Design Group renovated
the hilltop residence by
creating a new pool with
an in-pool tanning bed and 10
person
spa
with waterfall
and using the finest 3M products.
We
created new landscape elements
to enhance the gardens
available to each
bedroom. Also added were 3 custom
water
features – one
being a duel feature
visible from both the interior
and
exterior.
The more than 5000 square
foot estate was transformed
from mediocre to magnificent
by using
24” x 24” travertine
throughout, except
for the bedrooms.
Travertine was
also used on the
counters in the kitchens
and baths, all on
custom made cabinetry
and vanities.
We
created a custom
Entertainment center to create
visual impact as well as
housing
the state-of-the-art
sound system.
All
windows were enlarged
to enhance the views
of the surrounding landscape
and
mountain vistas.
Hansgrohe faucets
and “downpour” showerheads
along with Hansgrohe
handheld sprays were used in
updating
the baths.
Custom
wallcoverings were
installed throughout various
rooms of the estate.
